The Dragon, still depressed over Debbie Harris' murder, is defeated by the Shrew, a murderous creature in the alleyways of Chicago, and then engages in a bar-room brawl. After visiting Debbie's grave, The Dragon finds and attacks the Shrew, almost killing him. Soon, he locates and provokes a fight with Barbaric and Ricochet, two out-of-work super-powered youths. He then makes friends with them, and they go their separate ways.
