It is reported that the Shrew was under the influence of a slug-like creature on the back of his neck while he was on his rampage, and is allowed to walk. Freak Force and Dragon battle the Annihilators, who are led by Cyberface, former rightand man to Overlord. They almost lose, until Mighty Man arrives and captures the powerful Cyberface. The remaining Annihilators teleport away to an unknown destination. Afterwards, an elderly woman named Emily Schwartzblatt arrives at the Police Station and confronts Dragon, claiming that he is her long-lost son Rodney. Cyberface agrees to testify against Overlord, but the various members of Freak Force quit the Police due to the way they feel they are being treated. Dragon and Frank Darling plan to arrest Overlord soon.
