While Kill Cat relays his origin to Kid Avenger, Roman, protector of Atlantis, searches Detroit for the Man-Eater, a villain that has kidnapped several Atlanetan maidens to prostitute them. Roman and the Deadly Duo together defeat Man-Eater and her accomplice, Gator, who is handed over to the Police. Roman return to Atlantis with the maidens.
